Three consecutive draws for Manchester City! What is going on here? The Cityzens sitting not just one, but two places outside the top spot in the table? Crazy times we live in! And now they’ll be without their midfield maven Rodri, and winger extraordinaire Jack Grealish, when they stage their next match, a trip to Aston Villa in midweek.

Matheus Nunes, who missed the last three games due to an unspecified muscular issue, faces a late fitness test in order to be ready here.

Team News for Both Sides

Rodri is a huge loss, as we’ve seen how much worse this team is when he’s missing. Plus they already have a major injury hole in midfield as it is, via Kevin de Bruyne, who remains out with an injured hamstring until well into the New Year.

Shifting gears to Villa, Boubacar Kamara is now back from a one match suspension. However, Bertrand Traore (muscle), Emiliano Buendia (knee) and Tyrone Mings (also a knee) all remain out as longer-term injury absentees.
