If you’re looking for someone to help close really big deals, why not turn to the owner of the richest contract in all of football history- Paul Pogba. The France international has referred to himself as ‘Agent P’ after he played a key role in selling BFF Romelu Lukaku on the idea of rejecting Chelsea in order to move to Manchester United.
The story of Pogba recruiting Lukaku has been publicly detailed by both men this summer. On Wednesday night, United lost an international friendly to Barcelona 1-0 in Washington D.C. That night Pogba was photographed with two of Barca’s superstars, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
Pogba posted the snap to his official Instagram page, and in the caption he jokes about recruiting Messi.
Pogba quipped: ‘Agent P on duty.”
Of course, it’s Neymar who’s likely on the move with reports that Paris Saint-Germain have acquired the elite of the elite Brazilian. It’s possible that friendly Wednesday night was Neymar’s last in a Barcelona shirt.
This follows up the praise that Mourinho gave for Lionel Messi, and the rest of the Barca galacticos Wednesday night. Barcelona Manager Ernesto Valverde returned the favor by saying United will be Champions League contenders.
