Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho met the media a few hours ago, and soon after appearance concluded, central defender Victor Lindelof met the media for Q&A. Lindelof and Mourinho met with reporters to discuss the big match tomorrow night.
United host CSKA Moscow Tuesday with the opportunity to clinch Group A of the UEFA Champions League on the line. We have video of both media sessions for you below via YouTube.
First, here is Mourinho:
Mourinho revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out, due to his being rested. (Go here for more on that). Also rested will be goalkeeper David de Gea, while Paul Pogba was named to the first team. The Portugese warned his team against looking past CSKA Moscow and ahead to the huge Manchester derby on Sunday. It’s a match that will define the season December 10 and determine whether we will have a title race or not this season.
Mourinho said the team hasn’t discussed preparations for Manchester City yet and how they will not do so until after the conclusion of tomorrow night’s game.
“It is the next match. We don’t think about the next, just about tomorrow,” Mourinho said.
“I will make a few but not too many changes. We didn’t qualify yet. We didn’t finish first yet. Other clubs are also involved. We have to find a certain balance.”
Now we go to Victor Lindelof:
