The rebuild of Manchester United could definitely take some time, so get ready and dig your heels in for that. The upshot is that we’ll have a summer transfer window filled with many comings and goings.

And with Manchester United linked to approximately 97,324 players already, the time is right for some Red Devils transfer talk. Go here for part one of our United transfer talk today.

We start with the Daily Mirror who claim that United will cut ties with Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian. Both defenders arrived during the Louis van Gaal era, and enjoyed a decent period of at least some success before falling out of favor.

Each had settled in in the starting lineup for a little while, but for both the Argentine and the Italian, injuries have been a major issue. Both players have been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford for quite some time too.

Next we move on to the situation in between the sticks. With David de Gea’s long-term future still very much in doubt, there are reports swirling about that Paris Saint-Germain is willing to put forth a £60 million bid for him.

This is according to the Sun, so please take it with a grain of salt. Yes, of course all transfer rumors need to be taken with a grain of salt, but in this case even more so.

The publication claims that AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarummabeing is being lined up as a potential replacement, as the contract talks with De Gea are going nowhere.

This is all of course, a very fluid situation, and the summer transfer silly season has only just begun, so a lot of things are going to change between now and when something actually gets done.
