As we’ve said numerous times- when Rodri is out of the lineup for Manchester City, they just aren’t the same team. His absence is always a huge loss, and we saw that once again in the midweek defeat at Aston Villa.

But he’ll back for the fixture at Luton Town, as he’s now finished serving his suspension.

City are winless in their last four, but having Rodri back on Sunday will make a huge difference. It also helps that they’ll be facing a newly promoted/relegation zone dweller opponent in Luton Town.

Team News for Both Sides

This is what they call “a get right game” and City have a nearly fully fit squad right now. Jeremy Doku is a doubt with a foot injury while Kevin de Bruyne remains out until January.

Shifting gears to the Hatters, Reece Burke (thigh), Dan Potts (ankle) and Mads Andersen (hamstring) are all out of commission here while Teden Mengi (knee), (former Arsenal man) Albert Sambi Lokonga (thigh), Marvellous (what an awesome name) Nakamba (knee) and Cauley Woodrow (calf) are all doubts here.
