Manchester City won the Premier League title in dramatic fashion on Sunday, scoring two goals in the last three minutes to pip cross-city rivals Man Utd and win their first league title in 44 years. Tied on 86 points, City needed only to match United’s result to secure the title, which had looked lost a month ago when they trailed United by eight points barely a month ago. It all looked lost, however, with 90 minutes gone, with City losing 2-1 to QPR while Wayne Rooney’s goal at Sunderland had given Utd the victory they needed to secure a 20th league title.
