The Emre Can transfer saga just keeps going strong, with closure still yet to be reached. It was reported back on the final day of April that the German international had agreed to a deal to join Juventus on a free transfer. However, here we are on June 2nd and it still remains not finalized, but hey it’s getting closer!
And with Liverpool having added Fabinho as their first summer transfer window signing, it’s clear that Can won’t really have much of a place in the Liverpool midfield going forward. The midfielder arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2014, as part of a major Brendan Rodgers overhaul, but now it appears his time at Merseyside is through.

Yesterday, Sky Sports Italia journalist Mario Giunta Tweeted that Juve have signed Can on a free transfer, with a medical coming up next week. Since that Tweet was posted, Calciomercato also reported that Emre Can had agreed on a four-year deal with the Old Lady and that we’ll finally see a resolution in the next few days, to a transfer saga which has been going on a very long time.
There was talk of the German leaving the Reds as far back as October.
