Chelsea FC, by most accounts, have been the most injured team in the Premier League this season. As the next match approaches, the Blues injury absentees can be divided into two categories: nearing a return soon and longer-term recovery. Christopher Nkunku (knee surgery recovery), Romeo Lavia (ankle injury) and Malo Gusto (undisclosed/unspecified issue) fall into the latter category.
And honestly, we have been talking about Nkunku and Lavia coming back since before the November international break, so when is it going to happen?

Team News for Both Sides
When are we going to finally see Lavia and Nkunku make their competitive debuts for Chelsea? To quote Milhouse van Houten on The Simpsons “When are they going to get to the Fireworks Factory?” In the latter category for Chelsea you have the following players: Ben Chilwell (hamstring), Wesley Fofana (torn ACL), Carney Chukwuemeka (knee) and Trevoh Chalobah (thigh).
Meanwhile first team regular Conor Gallagher is suspended for this match. Shifting gears to the Toffees, Andre Gomes (calf) and Dele Alli (groin) are sidelined. Meanwhile Dominic Calvert-Lewin (undisclosed) and Amadou Onana (calf) are doubts for this one.
