The trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea is always huge for Manchester United every year, but it has taken on even more meaning during the Jose Mourinho era, naturally, as that is the club that sacked him in December of 2015. Mourinho led the Blues twice, and he achieved a lot of glory during both stints.
He has yet to achieve that kind of glory at United. Let’s take a look at who should be fit, and who might be out for the big Premier League clash on Saturday.

Odds via Bwin: United 17/4, Draw 11/4, Chelsea 7/10
Kickoff: Saturday October 20, 12:30 BST, Stamford Bridge
Let’s start with United.
Marouane Fellaini was left out of Belgium’s friendly against the Netherlands last night, but he should be ready to go for this one. More on this topic over at this link.
Both defender Luke Shaw (England) and midfielder Nemanja Matic (Serbia) missed out on international duty due to ankle injuries, but both are back in training this week and face a race against the clock to be fit in time. This match is the first on the slate this weekend.
Midfielder Scott McTominay is a doubt after withdrawing from the Scotland squad, due to an unspecified knock. Forward Jesse Lingard returned to training, and should be in contention. Midfielder Ander Herrera and defender Marcos Rojo are back training as well, but probably will not feature in this one.
On the other side, Defender Antonio Rudiger is unlikely to feature after a groin issue kept him out of action with Germany. Defender/midfielder Ethan Ampadu is a doubt after suffering a knee strain while on international duty with Wales.
Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek missed international break and stayed with the club to focus on recovering from an apparent foot injury.
Prediction: Chelsea 2, United 1
