Tuesday night could see Andy Robertson play at Anfield, as a member of the opposition, for the first time ever. The Scotland national team captain moved from Liverpool to Tottenham Hotspur this summer on a free transfer, after winning numerous trophies on Merseyside.

The left back has winners medals from two Premier League title campaigns, in a red shirt. He also played in seven cup finals, enjoying a trophy lift after three of them (UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup).

We’re predicting that Robertson will not only play in midweek, but also start, the League Cup third round clash.

It’s not defense that is the biggest issue at Tottenham right now, however.

Four games into the league season, and they have yet to score a single solitary goal.

They are, to put it mildly, a bit of a punchline right now. They did score five goals in their one League Cup clash this season, but that was against Charlton Athletic, but they are a second tier side.

Starting XI Predictions

Tottenham Hotspur

Antonin Kinsky; Archie Gray, Jan Paul van Hecke, Marco Senesi, Andy Robertson; Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali; Mo Kudus, Conor Gallagher, Savio; Dominic Solanke
