Today was a big announcement Notre Dame football. 2012’s starting QB Everett Golson is once again part of the team. am, especially about the dismissal of Everett Golson, it was essential that Brian Kelly win the press conference. And he definitely did. He answered everything thrown at him quite well.

And as for Everett Golson, the wheels are in motion for him to return to ND. Best case scenario, if everything goes right, would be spring semester and then returning to the field in 2014. Of course, it’s still early to speculate whether that happens or not.

Q.  I know Everett Golson is not here.  Do you have a specific plan for him?  Both you and he hope, expect to be back in January?
COACH KELLY:  Yeah, we expect him back in January.  There will be a plan in place.  It’s still in flux right now.  But we’re in communication with Everett Golson.  Coach Martin has talked to him.  I’ve talked to him a few times now.  There will be a plan that fits his needs, what’s best for him in terms of the environment that he’s in.
