A new poll released from Poll Position found that 37% of Americans think Syracuse Orange college basketball coach Jim Boeheim should be fired for his disparaging remarks he initially made against the young men accusing his long time assistant Bernie Fine of sexually abusing them.

More than a third of U.S. citizens polled believe Boeheim’s snap-judgment, reflex type response to the allegations should cost him his job. Fine has already been fired. The poll was conducted December 4th among 1,072 respondents, margin of error for this poll is +/- 3%

Syracuse is currently undefeated and ranked #3 in both polls
