Manchester United Team News vs Sabah: Marcus Rashford, Carlos Baleba, Amad Diallo

Marcus Rashford could miss out when Manchester United hosts Sabah Futbol Klubu on Thursday night. Also known as Sabah FK, Sabah FC, or simply just Sabah, they’re a Masazir, Azerbaijan based club that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, which is the highest tier of Azerbaijani football pyramid. We feel we need to mention all this because most football observers and supporters have never even heard of Sabah.

They’re so obscure that they’re one of those clubs that doesn’t have their badge displayed in the results when you search them on Google.

Getting back to Rashford, he started in the 2-2 draw with Everton, but had to be subbed off after 70 minutes, due to his feeling discomfort. Manager Michael Carrick did say something about the injury in postgame, but played down the severity of it, and kept his remarks cryptic.

“Yeah, he was feeling a bit of something,” Carrick said of the Rashford fitness situation.

He’s doubtful, at least, for Thursday while Manuel Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt and Thomas Heaton remain sidelined.

carlos baleba

We’re still awaiting the debut of summer transfer window addition Carlos Baleba, and we don’t know when that might occur. The club have been very vague about his injury situation; ditto for Amad Diallo.
