It’s become a summer transfer window tradition- will Eden Hazard leave Chelsea and join Real Madrid? Or will he stay? Chelsea FC got off to a very hot start this season, but the last few weeks have seen a reversal of fortune. It was the highest number of goals they have conceded in one half of Premier League action since 1996.

After the match, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri spoke to the team for almost an hour, without the presence of his backroom staff. He then did his mandatory media availability, and said he had no answers for the disaster that unfolded in midweek.

For Maurizio Sarri and his Chelsea side, the very next match is the easiest Premier League fixture of all, at least on paper. They’ll host Huddersfield Town, the absolute bottom side and a near lock to be relegated, on the weekend. It’s the perfect match to be preparing for right now, given the disaster that unfolded yesterday at the Vitality Stadium.

Chelsea went into the half at Bournemouth knotted up in a goalless stalemate. They then surrendered four goals in the second half, the most conceded in a half of Premier League competition since 1996. Afterward, Sarri spoke to his team for almost an hour, before then doing his mandatory media availability. gonzalo higuain

Chelsea FC continue defense of their FA Cup title tomorrow by hosting Sheffield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge for a fourth round clash. The current holders will host a Championship side that has won this specific tournament three times. The Owls currently reside 16th in the 24 team table, having finished 15th in the second tier of English football last season.

They are massive underdogs in this clash and that’s understandable given how the Blues have had no issues taking care of teams from lower divisions this season. The west London side has certainly had their ups and downs against top flight competition this term, but versus the smaller clubs they have been utterly dominant.
