Tottenham Hotspur are currently right back where they ended last season; 6th place. Sure, they have as many points as the fourth and fifth place teams, but so far it doesn’t really seem like much has changed. Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t made the team any better than what it was under AVB or Tim Sherwood.
Perhaps changes are coming this January?
What about star striker Emmanuel Adebayor? Spurs might have a potential buyer.
According to The Sun, Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe are the next two players in line to join Redknapp’s reunion of old boys at Loftus Road — following the well-worn path that Sandro, Niko Kranjcar, Rio Ferdinand and what seems like a dozen other players have taken in rejoining Redknapp in south London. {ESPN FC}
Adebayor missed Spurs summer preseason tour of the United States due to a bout with malaria.
Newly promoted Queens Park Rangers are off to a very rough start. They are in dead last- 20th place. QPR is even behind Burnley FC, their newly promoted brethren. I’m not sure Emmanuel Adebayor would be the answer to reaching safety. I do know they need to do something to get out of the drop zone. Redknapp needs to shake things up and in a big way.
