UConn’s Jeremy Lamb: NBA Lottery bound? (video)

UConn’s Jeremy Lamb figures to be a late lottery to mid first round pick in the NBA Draft next week. Here’s a summary from our scouting report on Lamb.

Though streaky and inconsistent at times, Lamb will likely be the first shooting guard to come off the board on draft night. He possesses a capable all-around offensive attack and is a gifted athlete with terrific length. Lamb should fall somewhere in the mid-late lottery depending on team needs.

Here’s where we have Jones in our latest mock draft:

16. Houston (from NY)- Jeremy Lamb, SG, UConn, 6-5, So.
In addressing their need for size with their earlier pick, a shooting guard like Jeremy Lamb would allow the Rockets to possibly move Kevin Martin via trade.  A point guard is another option since Goran Dragic is a free agent and Kyle Lowry is reportedly unhappy in Houston.
