When West Ham United travels to Fulham on Sunday, it’ll be a match-up of two London clubs that cruised to victories in mid-week. It also, at least on paper, promises to be high-scoring and exciting. There is plenty at stake too, as both sides are striving to get out of the “mid-table” zone, and instead within the European qualification area.
Fulham were in the mix for a UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League berth during most of last season, but eventually faded down the stretch.
