This 2019-20 Premier League season, thus far, has seen Manchester United: beat the reigning domestic treble holders/two time defending champions at home, utterly rout top four side Chelsea in the season opener, beat second place Leicester City and become the only side not to lose to Liverpool.
It’s been a campaign that’s also seen United: lose at home to Crystal Palace for the first time ever, manage only a draw with the 18th and 16th place sides and lose to the 17th and 14th place sides? So who are the real Red Devils? As they host 15th place Everton tomorrow, one can understand why United supporters will be wary of this fixture.
In looking at the team news for this one, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to have winger Jesse Lingard back available for selection, but he’s a doubt after having missed training all week. The Englishman suffered a knock in the Manchester derby win.
Diogo Dalot and Nemanja Matic are also doubts due to match fitness concerns. Flipping over to the visitors, Seamus Coleman (rib), Fabian Delph (knock), Lucas Digne (groin), and Yerry Mina (hamstring) are all doubts for this one.
Meanwhile Theo Walcott (calf), former United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin (calf), Jean-Philippe Gbamin (thigh) and Andre Gomes (ankle) are all out injured.
