Heading into the Premier League headliner fixture, where they’ll visit Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United do not have any new fitness concerns. The one possible exception is Jamaal Lascelles, who is likely to be match fit despite limping out in the final minutes of the midweek loss at Everton.

Eddie Howe believes Lascelles will be ready. However, the Magpies will be without the services of a dozen injured players for this one.

The list includes Nick Pope, who required surgery to get his dislocated shoulder repaired, and will thus, now be out of commission until April. So they might make some goalkeeping moves in the January transfer window then. The obvious choice would be to sign free agent David de Gea, but we’ll see what happens with that!
