Benjamimn Sesko did not feature for Manchester United, at all, this preseason so he’s a strong doubt for the season opener at newly promoted Hull City on Saturday. The Slovenian striker is still building up match fitness levels after having recovered from a shin injury. If he does make the matchday squad this weekend, he still wouldn’t likely play a whole lot. Perhaps Sesko could feature in a cameo off the bench.
Midfielder Mason Mount is a 50/50 proposition, as he recovers from an ankle/foot injury.

Elsewhere Tom Heaton is a doubt for this one, due to an unspecified knock. And with free agent summer signing Karl Darlow still rehabbing from an unspecified surgical procedure, the backup goalkeeper depth is now potentially a little depleted.

Elsewhere the injury/fitness/availability situation remains the same, with Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte sidelined for the foreseeable future.
