For both club and country, Romelu Lukaku plays for the Red Devils. It is the mascot for both Manchester United and the Belgian National Team. While Fred the Red is perfect for Old Trafford, Belgium is looking for a new masco, and they created this hilarious advertisement to aid in their search.
Lukaku, along with Tottenham Hotspur pair Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, are given the opportunity to draw the vision for the new mascot.
The striker and his national teammates sketch their designs and despite Lukaku drawing a hideous monstrosity, it somehow comes to life. When it’s created, it’s even more fun bad than it looked on paper. It’s a brilliantly comic advertisement and you can watch it below via YouTube:

By the way, Lukaku and Vertonghen scored Belgium’s two goals as the Red Devils beat Greece 2-1, in a World Cup qualifier earlier today.
