When the city of lights calls, you got to accept the charges. Manchester United forwards Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford took a pleasure trip to Paris, making the most of the nine days off the team has in between matches. United were far from their best last night, but they still vanquished Derby County 2-0 in the FA Cup third round. Lingard scored yet again, continuing his recent run of extremely dominant form.

The United attacking duo are celebrating the victory in style, taking in Paris, and seeing the sights.

The Lingard-Rashford bromance continued as the winger currently on a high flying scoring streak posted an Instagram story with the center forward near the world famous Arc de Triomphe. Rashford and Lingard posted a few photos together during Lingard’s recent birthday party, attended by the latter’s girlfriend, Instagram model Jena Frumes.

Currently, United’s next match is scheduled for January 15, but that could change. The Daily Mail writes that:

Both Lingard and Rashford could get another stamp in their passport next week as United will travel to Dubai on Monday if Stoke’s tie with Coventry doesn’t go to a replay.

United are scheduled to face Stoke a week on Monday but the tie will be moved to Saturday if the Potters have to face Coventry in a replay.

Lingard, Rashford and the rest of United have certainly earned the holiday, having just completed a very formidable workload over the festive period. United played three matches in seven days, and four in ten over the Christmas to New Year’s period.
