The hot seat for David Moyes got even warmer. Manchester United crashing out of the FA Cup, the team getting booed off the pitch, and the lack of inspiration thus far in the transfer window now has even more people calling for the sacking of David Moyes. It also didn’t help that Moyes didn’t get anything done in the summer transfer window either.
David Moyes has insisted that injury concerns will not force him to make any impulse buys and he still expects most of Manchester United’s business to be done in the summer. This is not what the critics want to hear. Right now, it looks like the current United boss was handed the keys to a Rolls Royce from the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, and he’s wrecked that fine automobile.

Moyes confirmed that Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi was one of those who had been on the club’s radar. “We did certainly think about bringing him in the summer time. I don’t think it went as far as a bid,” he said.
Also David Moyes made some comments indicating that no big changes, or anything exciting will happen in the transfer window this month.
“It won’t change how we go about things. January is not an easy month to purchase in.
Asked if he would be making signings, Moyes said: “I don’t think so. I think most of the business will be more towards the summer rather than January.”
