Believe it or not, Manchester United can still advance through to the UEFA Champions League knockout round on Tuesday night. A win over Bayern Munich, plus a draw in the other Group B match, FC Copenhagen vs. Galatasaray, would do it.

However, the odds of all that happening are very long, to say the least. Let’s take a look at what lineup manager Erik ten Hag could go with, in his side’s desperate hopes of trying to advance through to the round of 16.

Expect manager Erik ten Hag to do some squad rotation here- the stellar youngster Kobbie Mainoo could or at least should, be in the mix here. And the ostracized Raphael Varane could see a recall here too.
