For the first time ever, Harry Kane will be playing a match in England while a member of a non-English club. Kane comes to his native land leading the line for Bayern Munich, who come to Old Trafford reeling from a disastrous result on the weekend. The same can obviously be said for their opponents, Manchester United.

Bayern got blasted from Frankfurt, 5-1, in the Bundesliga yesterday while United spent their Saturday getting shelled by AFC Bournemouth 3-0.

So while both sides are anxious to wash the taste of very ugly results out of their mouths, Bayern Munich can play relaxed, or with “house money” as they have already advanced to the UCL knockout round as group winners, and thus in line to get a very favorable draw.

United, on the other hand, need a win and help in order to continue continental competition.

Let’s take a look at what kind of lineup manager Thomas Tuchel might go with here.
