It promises to be a very exciting summer transfer window at Liverpool, with plenty of potential comings and goings. Manager Jurgen Klopp has already made public remarks promising additions beyond Naby Keita this summer, so the tabloids and back pages are going to be quite busy this silly season.

So, let’s take a spin through the latest transfer rumors and gossip making the rounds on the internet today.

Former Reds attacking player Suso spent his formative years at Anfield, and he’s now publicly expressed his desire to return, someday, to the team where he came of age.

Suso also confirmed that he has a release clause in his contract with his current team, AC Milan. Reports indicate that release clause to be in the neighborhood of €40 million. Suso discussed being around so many talented and notable players while making the journey from boy to man with the northwest England club.

“I did not play that much but I got to know Steven Gerrard and be a team-mate of players such as Luis Súarez, Philippe Coutinho and Jamie Carragher. I’ll never forget my experience at Liverpool,” Suso told The Guardian.

“Premier League football is different, I would call it special: I would like to play for Liverpool again some day. I grew up there and it is a big club.”

Suso went on to say that his rooting interest is conflicted and complicated this weekend in the UEFA Champions League final between his former club and Real Madrid.

On one hand, the Spaniard could see a club from his native country win the blockbuster European tournament yet again. On the other hand, he could witness a major triumph for the club that has been so integral to his life.

-Nabil Fekir is a name that keeps getting linked to Liverpool, with plenty of “fake news” present in many of these narratives.

Perhaps this time it’s actually the real deal? French TV station Canal+ claims that Liverpool is “99 percent done” on a move that would bring the Lyon team captain over.

The 24-year-old Frenchman has a transfer market value estimated to be over $80 million, but it seems odd that LFC would be spending that kind of money on the attack, when it’s not a position of great need for them right now.

Former Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre has landed a new job in football. He’ll be the CEO of the new Major League Soccer franchise in Nashville, Tennessee. Go here for more on that.
