It’s a very active final week of the summer transfer window at Manchester City football club. Savinho left for Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, and officially changed his name to Savio moving forward. Omar Marmoush, according to multiple sources, is following Savinho to White Hart Lane. Meanwhile Ayyoub Bouaddi arrives as the second major signing in the middle of the park, with the club officially announcing his arrival earlier today. So let’s break it all down, ahead of Friday’s league fixture at Crystal Palace.

Ayyoub Bouaddi
Bouaddi, being 18-years-old, breaks the Premier League transfer fee record for a teenager. He comes to the blue side of Manchester, from Lille, for a fee of €100 million (£85.6m / $117m) in total.
City will pay €95m up front for the young midfield maestro, with a potential €5m more in incentive based add-ons. Bouaddi signs a five-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2031.
“Manchester City are, for me, the best club in the world,” reads a statement attributed to Bouaddi.
“It’s a dream to be here and be able to call myself a City player. I have spent most of my life working hard to become the best player I can be and reach the top of the game.
“I’ve watched City for many years, and I love their style of play. City always try to play quality football. And they have shown they are winners. This club feels like it’s built to win.”
Omar Marmoush
Several major outlets are reporting that Marmoush will join Tottenham, on a loan move, with an obligation to buy. So the Marmoush era will soon be officially over, and honestly, he never truly fit in.
He was always going to be the backup to Erling Haaland, and now Man City will likely look to find a backup striker before the window ends. Or maybe acquire another forward of some sort.
According to ESPN, the Marmoush transfer fee is £60 million ($82m).
Savinho
Covered this one, in detail, over at this link, yesterday. Sávio Moreira de Oliveira, who was known as Savinho at City, made the a £85 million ($116m) move to Tottenham. He will now be referred to as Sávio.
The departures of Savinho and Marmoush mean that that City have seen eight players leave the club.
The previous six are James Trafford, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Tijjani Reijnders and Nathan Aké. There is also heavy speculation that Nico González could join them, in exiting before deadline day next Tuesday.
