Liverpool will look to stay in the Premier League title race when they host Fulham FC on Sunday, but taking all three points from this affair will not come easy. The Reds will again be without the services of several key players, including starting goalie Alisson and first team attacking player Diogo Jota.

The duo are more recently injured, but the Merseyside club has some long-term injury absentees as well.

Team News for Both Sides

The trio of Thiago Alcantara (you knew you couldn’t get through a LFC Team News article without mentioning Thiago! I swear he will be match fit at some point, someday….maybe), Stefan Bajcetic and Andrew Robertson all remain out for the foreseeable future.

Shifting gears to Fulham, they’ll have midfielder Joao Palhinha back available here, as he’s done serving his one-match. However, they have a quartet of injured players in Issa Diop, Tyrese Francois, Rodrigo Muniz and Adama Traore.

Prediction: Liverpool 3, Fulham 2

Even with a back-up shot-stopper in between the sticks, the men of Jurgen Klopp should be able to be “mentality giants” and reinforce the idea of “Anfield being a fortress” on this night.
