Manchester United and their manager Jose Mourinho will have to revamp their usual pre-match protocol this week ahead of the Super Sunday clash at Chelsea. Throwing a monkey wrench into the routing is Mourinho’s having to attend his tax fraud case in Madrid on Friday.
Typically, Mourinho holds his weekly news conference on Friday afternoons, but the special one has been summoned to the Spanish capital in order to answer accusations related to non-payment of £2.9 million in taxes between 2011 and 2012, while he was manager of Real Madrid.

The weekly Mourinho press conference will now be held on Thursday. Sky Sports News understands that Mourinho plans to travel to Spain Thursday evening. He will then attend court in Pozuelo de Alarcon in the morning before taking a private jet back to Manchester Friday afternoon, where he’ll then lead the team’s training session for the day at the Carrington complex.
Chelsea are favored for what will be the weekend’s biggest clash at Stamford Bridge.
