
Attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard scored for his third successive League Cup game, with two excellent finishes, providing all the scoring as Manchester United bested Swansea City 2-0 to move on to the tournament’s round of eight. The Red Devils were learn of their fifth round opponent via Twitter tomorrow.
United are looking to defend their EFL Cup (now called Carabao Cup), and certainly conveyed that today with a very dominating performance over the Swans. Lingard bagged a brace (21′, 59′) for the Red Devils while moving with efficiency and intelligence throughout.

Manchester United will learn their fifth round opponent tomorrow, as the draw is scheduled to take place at 4pm GMT on Wednesday October 25. The draw will be held before Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United even play their fourth round games.
