Midfielder supreme Enzo Fernandez was only able to go 32 minutes in the thrilling midweek win over Newcastle United, but manager Mauricio Pochettino said that the player was just feeling a bit sick. He should be fine to feature on Christmas Eve at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile Levi Colwill had to be subbed off at half time, but that was only due to having tired legs. He should be fine for Sunday, and as we enter the festive season fixture pileup, resting guys will be a top priority.

The midweek win saw Christopher Nkunku finally make his competitive debut for Chelsea, and now the same could be said for another high-profile, big money signing: Romeo Lavia.

Blues Team News

He returned to training, as did Lesley Ugochkwu and Noni Madueke. They could all be in the mix to play on Christmas Eve. Although the Chelsea injury list is shrinking, it still remains very very long. Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah are all still on the shelf, and will be for some time.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.
