For those who wrote off Christian Pulisic already, you did so at your own peril. Sure, he got off to a very rough start, and he was lacking in opportunities for playing time, but when given the chance, he produced. Despite struggling for playing time, Pulisic had still racked up five assists on the season heading into today’s Premier League fixture at Burnley FC.
Today the 21-year-old winger made his first start in a Premier League contest since August 31st, and scored his first ever goal in a Chelsea shirt. Take a look:

Pulisic was just getting warmed up. He achieved a true triple threat in his hat trick, scoring with his left foot, right foot and on a header. In the 21′, 45′ and 56′. Willian added a late goal as Chelsea went on to win 4-2.
Here’s the video of the second:
SECOND GOAL FOR PULISIC. To arrive with pressure of an enormous transfer fee then falter and appear to lose your way, only to grind back into the reckoning and seize his opportunity. Tenacity is always the great intangible. Confidence will now be surging ??pic.twitter.com/z88wTbxUzm

Pulisic joins Clint Dempsey as the only Americans to ever score a hat trick in the Premier League.
And to celebrate the achievement, the American emulated the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan, with this gesture:
