Chelsea Football Club, Alvaro Morata and Manager Antonio Conte all expressed their gratitude towards the fans who changed the words to their offensive chant about the striker.
The song is sung by Chelsea fans in praise of Morata, but it’s egregiously offensive because it contains Anti-Semitic lyrics targeted toward rival club Tottenham Hotspur.
Morata said thanks via his official verified Twitter account:
Thank you so much for the new song!! You are the best!! #GOBLUES #CFC ??

“It was a good change and I am pleased with the new chant,” Conte said after the Blues resounding 4-0 win at Stoke City today.
“Our fans were fantastic, they pushed us a lot. In this stadium who push a lot [for Stoke], I want to thank our fans as they helped the team a lot today.” Chelsea Football Club Head of communications Steve Atkins added: “We spoke to Alvaro after the game and he was also grateful for the change.”
Manchester United have also had issues with an offensive chant being sung by supporters. MUFC said they are looking to crack down those who sing an offensive song about Romelu Lukaku.
