While many rejoiced over news of TheBlaze network firing polarizing hostess Tomi Lahren, the schadenfreude could be both short-lived and premature. There’s so much conflicting information on this topic right now that it’s still TBD how exactly Tomi Lahren will leave the Glenn Beck run operation, and whether or not this results in a blessing-in-disguise for the polarizing and extremist talking head hate-monger.
Neither camp: Tomi Lahren and her representation, or TheBlaze, are responding to requests for comment right now.
It’s all leading to ramped up speculation, and when it’s all said and done, this might be a boon for the career of Lahren. Sadly, the Blaze may have just been holding her back
Tom Lahren falls into the exact same category of Kelly Anne Conway and Ann Coulter: women with both physical traits and world views that gel with the Aryan Nation. It’s debatable how much of their own white supremacist, ignorant hatespeech each of these three women genuinely believe versus how much is doing an act.
That is, outside of Conway, Coulter and Lahren themselves, no one really knows for sure what part of their bigotry is pure evil, and what part is trolling. What’s sadly undebatable is how much of a bull market there is for this kind of deplorable tripe. It’s tragic just how large of an audience their disgusting bigotry attracts. No matter what packaging label you slap on their repugnant opinions- alt-right, white-nationalism, white supremacy, neo-nazism, it’s all more or less the same.
While Tomi Lahren herself might shy away from the alt-right label, that is the exact niche she fits, and that’s the market her bigoted ignorance appeals to.
Not many outside of the KKK crowd, and those sympathetic to it, really know what TheBlaze network actually is, but apparently it’s in a bit of trouble.
According to media experts, Lahren’s departure comes at a critical time for TheBlaze. Beck’s site garnered just eight million unique visitors in February 2017, down from 21.5 million unique visitors in March 2014, according to comScore data.
TheBlaze’s decision to part ways with Lahren could be Beck’s attempt to re-establish his brand as a leading conservative voice at a time when the longtime pundit and radio host is drawing criticism for his public opposition to President Donald Trump, Mark Feldstein, a professor of broadcast journalism at the University of Maryland, told FOX Business.
You probably already know what led to the split between TheBlaze and the 24-year-old “cewebrity,” but in case you need a refresher. Here’s a Fox News.com synopsis:
“Tomi Lahren was reportedly suspended from TheBlaze following pro-choice comments she made on a March 17 episode of “The View.”
According to the New York Post, Lahren has been “banned permanently” from Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze while TMZ is reporting Lahren is negotiating her exit from the network”.

Up until the past year or so, not many people outside of your Ku Klux Klan/Pepe the Frog/proud “deplorable” in their Twitter handle types even knew who Lahren was. However, with the insane amount of views her homicidally angry Facebook video rants accrue, she’s made some cross-over appearances into the mainstream.
Non-sociopaths have become familiar with her due to her appearances on FOX News Channel, The Daily Show (where she was UTTERLY DESTROYED by Trevor Noah in the Black Lives Matter debate), Real Time with Bill Maher and most recently The View.
Her highly scrutinized appearance on the women’s daytime show led to her suspension, and now it seems, eventual departure.
It’s all because she told panelists on “The View” that she supported legalized abortion.
Tomi Lahren said on air, speaking with a ridiculously rapid pace:
“I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”
Just in case you’re scoring at home, Lahren’s comparing equating Black Lives Matter with the KKK, not a problem for TheBlaze.
However, her stating that men shouldn’t legislate women’s bodies equals grounds for dismissal.
It’s pretty clear that she’s striving to go mainstream now, and this suspension/dismissal/termination could be the exact impetus she needs. Her Facebook page has over 4 million likes, her Twitter account 684,000 followers and her videos ten of millions of views.
Let's address the real elephant in the room here…why do I look so orange?! ? #laughatyourself pic.twitter.com/vUQpL46lew

It seems inevitable that Tomi Lahren is now due for some George W. Bush, Lane Kiffin style “failing upwards.”
