Syracuse basketball is back in the Final Four. Here’s some photographs we shot from ground zero of the celebration at Chicago’s United Center. The Orange, back in the Final Four for the first time since 2013, when they reached the final weekend as a #6 seed, become the first #10 seed to ever reach the final.
The Orange overcame a 16 point second half deficit to #1 seed Virginia in what was truly an amazing comeback.
Having beat the Cavaliers in an all ACC Regional Final, they’ll now face the North Carolina Tar Heels in an all ACC national semi-final. The ACC continues to be in basketball what the SEC is in football. We’ll have the videos of the on court celebration for Syracuse basketball up shortly.
