We’ve all had some moments where we’ve come off as airheads during March Madness, and Airheads.com wants to see them. Did the Fathead of Coach K face the wrong way the whole game? Get too excited for the go-ahead basket that you spilled your drink on your buddy? Life’s little humorous gems like this, are meant to be celebrated.
Even us who cover college basketball for a living are not immune to having an airheads moment or two. At the Final Four preview press conference yesterday, broadcast live on ESPN, a reporter actually asked this airheaded question: “why has the Final Four now become the pinnacle of college basketball?”
So it happens to all of us.
And now a Kentucky based candy company (fitting as the Kentucky Wildcats are playing in the Final Four this weekend) want all the airheads, and we mean that in an endearing way, to share these type of moments with the world.
· Go to airheadsneeded.com to submit a pre-recorded video or a recreation of an awesome, epic sports fan fail.
· If you see an Airheads sport fan moment in action, let Airheads know by using the hashtag #AirheadsNeeded.
· Contest ends April 21, so make sure to submit soon!
Videos can either be pre-captured gems that have yet to be shared with the world or newly created greatness. The top three will be selected and used in upcoming TV commercials with others featured in mobile and online advertising beginning in June.
Airhead moments are always funny, but never painful, so fans should steer clear of submitting videos that hurt themselves or others. No pranks please or making fun of others – after all, the world needs more airheads, not jerks. For a full list of submission do’s and don’ts, rules and regulations or inspiration, visit AirheadsNeeded.com. Fans are also encouraged to use the hashtag #Airheadsneeded when sharing through social channels to celebrate their own airhead moments with the world.
