Tottenham Hotspur have a whole lot of availability concerns as they head to Manchester United for the Premier League weekend’s headliner fixture. It starts with Ben Davies, who suffered a hamstring injury in the FA Cup win over Burnley.

He is likely to miss out here, but you never know, he could still heal up fully by Sunday. Meanwhile Cristian Romero (hamstring) and Giovani Lo Celso (undisclosed) are injury doubts here as well.

Elsewhere Son Heung-min, Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr are all away on international duty while James Maddison (ankle) and Manor Solomon (knee) are moving closer towards a return. However, this match will come too soon for either of them.

Newly signed loanee Timo Werner, who will be with the north Londoners until the end of the season, is in line for his Spurs debut here.

And finally, Alejo Veliz (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (thigh) and Ivan Perisic (knee) all remain out as long-term injury absentees.

Given how long that list is, it’s amazing that Ange Postecoglu has this team just one point outside the top four.
