Young and promising Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon wants to stay in the Premier League next season, and that’s not going to be happen if he stays with his current team. Sessegnon is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Manchester United, but only the last of the aforementioned teams has already made an overture to the Craven Cottagers about a potential deal getting done this summer.
Sky Sports reports that United have made initial contact for the 19-year-old who struggled this past season in the top flight. His lack of productivity was surprising given how he won an unprecedented five awards when he played in the championship in 2017-18.
Sessegnon was named Championship Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Apprentice of the Year, and a a member of the Team of the Season and the EFL Club Developed XI.
Perhaps he can get back on track if he moves to United, a club that have needs in, well just about everywhere. Sessegnon is a versatile youngster with high potential; despite the disappointing campaign he just completed. With just one year left on his deal, perhaps the time is right for all parties involved that he moves on to a bigger club.
