Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Rules Paul Pogba Out Until December

Manchester United have finally achieved their first Premier League away win of the season, and they did it without their most expensive and most talented player, Paul Pogba. Plagued by ankle and foot problems this season, the Frenchman has missed United’s last five games, and he’s often struggled when on the pitch.

United will have to continue soldiering on without him, as the team’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, ruled him out for all of the next month ahead.

“I don’t think we’ll see him before December,” Solskjaer said after his side won 3-1 at Norwich City on Sunday.

“He’ll be out for a while. He needs time to fully recover so I don’t think he will be back before maybe Sheffield United after the international break [on Nov. 24] but probably it will be December before you can see him.”

Obviously, we won’t see Pogba Wednesday night when United travel to Stamford Bridge for a round of 16 EFL Cup clash against Chelsea. Solskjaer refused to get into specifics about the Pogba’s injured ankle.

“I’m not a doctor but there is an injury there that needs healing,” the Norwegian continued.

“There’s no use talking about who’s not going to be here for a long time because he’s not going to come on the pitch and help us.”

Pogba looks likely to miss the next two UEL group stages clashes, but he should be back in time for crunch clash with Tottenham Hotspur and the first of two Manchester derbies.
