We are back baby! After what felt like the longest international break in quite some time, club action returned this weekend. The final match on the Premier League weekend features Newcastle United traveling to newly promoted Coventry City. The Geordies come into this one with a very, very long injury list (what else is new, right?), so we’ll need two articles to cover it all. Here in part one, we’ll cover Joelinton, Lewis Miley, William Osula and Amar Dedic.

Let’s start with the good news, Joelinton has been passed fit, having recovered from a thigh muscle injury.
‘You saw already last week,” Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle said.
“He was partially involved, and he is progressing and doing better and better. He has qualities on the ball and out of possession. He is a leader… we need warriors in the team. We are really happy to have him back training with us, [but] we need to be smart in our load management.”
Lewis Miley (knock) and William Osula (ankle/foot) are both expected to be passed fit. Meanwhile Amar Dedic (thigh injury) is also expected to be available for selection, but he might be more of a 50/50 proposition at this time.
Tino Livramento and Ewen Jaouen remain out as longer-term injury absentees.
