Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction vs PSV Eindhoven

Tottenham Hotspur head to the Netherlands to take on powerhouse of the Dutch top flight, PSV Eindhoven. In what is probably the UEFA Champions League strongest grouping, it’s a Group B fixture that both sides really need to have. It looks really likely that Barcelona and Inter Milan will be the two clubs advancing from this group, but there is still plenty of football left to try and change that narrative.

It all starts tomorrow night though, Spurs or PSV will need to get their first three points registered in the standings, otherwise their UCL campaign won’t be long for this season. Let’s take a look at who Mauricio Pochettino may select in his first team.

The Bank Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction 4-2-3-1

Striker: Harry Kane

Attacking midfield: Son Heung-Min, Christian Eriksen, Lucas Moura

Defensive-midfield: Eric Dier, Moussa Dembele

Back line:  Ben Davies, Serge Aurier, Davison Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris

Spurs are battling a host of injures to key players, while PSV are remarkably fit. However, Tottenham are strongly favored, and should be given the form they displayed in this competition last season. The north London side has yet to play in this year’s UCL at a level comparable to last year’s tournament, but you know that it’s coming and there is no time like the present.
