Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby will have a short leash according to Urban Meyer. And a suspension is likely. Roby, a junior who was an afterthought recruit from the same high school as former Buckeyes DL Cameron Heyward, was arrested in Bloomington, Indiana on July 21st and faces preliminary charges of battery resulting in bodily injury.
He was “asked to leave the bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody.”
Bradley Roby faces misdemeanor battery and spent the night in jail after allegedly striking a bouncer in the chest. Buckeyes Coach Urban Meyer said he will wait until all the facts are in before making a decision; as there is conflicting information out there.
“I think there will be discipline involved,” Urban Meyer said at Big Ten media days. “I imagine there will be a suspension involved. He’ll be on a very short leash.” The Bradley Roby situation is still evolving and there is nothing definitive as far as discipline yet
