Last night during the NBA on TNT broadcast, Charles Barkley was asked by Kenny “the Jet”Smith who is favorite president was. He mentioned that he recently saw the Steven Spielberg “Lincoln” movie and answered the question. Sounds harmless and politically correct enough, right?
Well this is the chuckster.
His response:
“You know I love President Obama, but Abe Lincoln is my new favorite president you know why? because if it wasn’t for him we’d all be calling Ernie boss.”
Everyone laughed, some more nervously and forced than others. Ernie Johnson, the one co-host of the four who is white, turned to Shaquille O’Neal and wisely/quickly changed topics. “So you are a believer?”
“Yes, I am boss” Shaq said.
