The Chicago Cubs are on pace to lose at least 105 games, and 110 is on the table. For historical reference, the club record for Ls is 103. Things are getting so bad for the Cubbies that even their logo is trying to flee away from the team. Take a look at Cubs pitcher Travis Wood, and his batting helmet.

This occurred in last night’s win over the New York Mets in which Wood out-dueled Johan Santana

If the Cubs keep up their losing ways, and all signs point to that being an eventuality, expect all the Cubs logos, from their helmets and caps to jerseys and bullpen jackets, to seek refuge in the Witness Protection Program.  And if the players followed suit, no one would blame them.
