Ryan Giggs, last year’s Manchester United care-taker Manager and the current #2 man under Louis van Gaal is trending all over the world on social media today due to his mea culpa pertaining to his extra-marital affair.
The power of the Man United brand, one of the greatest players in Premier League history and the scandalous nature of adultery and you get MEDIA sensation!
Ryan Giggs has finally said sorry for the eight-year affair that destroyed his brother’s marriage, it has been reported.
The Manchester United legend finally apologised to brother Rhodri for bedding his wife.
The former footballer phoned his brother and they are now slowly rebuilding their relationship.
A source told The Sun: “Ryan rang Rhodri out of the blue a few weeks ago.
“Rhodri moved on a long time ago but he was never going to contact Ryan. He was adamant Ryan had to make the first move as he was the one who had done wrong.”
Unsurprisingly, this situation was not covered in the Giggs documentary “Life of Ryan.” They didn’t touch upon it in the Class of ’92 documentary either.
Well, it’s good to see the family trying to make amends and move on. Although having sex with your brother’s wife is a very big “my bad” to have to account for. It’s an even bigger transgression to try and forgive and forget. Supposedly Rhodri and Ryan Giggs are getting past this betrayal though as they were spotted out at Manchester night clubs on Easter Sunday.
In case you’re wondering, that is former Michigan Wolverines QB Devin Gardner (who’s a huge Cristian Ronaldo fan by the way) in the intro photo with Giggsy.
