Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored a hat trick (achieved in the first 37 minutes) in a home blowout of Stoke City on Sunday. It was his second hat trick in his last three competitions, and third in his last nine. Kane has also scored 13 goals in his last 12 across all competitions.
Is this as good as it gets; maybe so. He now has 22 goals on the season; having reached the 20 goal mark for the third season in a row.
“Is this my best form ever? Yes I think so, I feel fresh, I feel sharp, I feel in good shape,” Harry Kane said.
“Of course that injury I had earlier in the season might have done me a bit of good, getting a bit more rest.”
“I’ve had a good couple of months now so it’s important I continue that until the end of the season.”
The injury he was referring to was of course the ankle injury earlier this season which forced the 23-year-old Englishman to miss seven weeks of action.
