Tottenham Hotspur are coming off one of the most exciting seasons that the North London club have seen in a very long time. Mauricio Pochettino guided Spurs to a campaign that saw his side contend for the Premier League title up until the final month. He did it with a ton of home grown talent too, as Spurs led the way in England National Team selections with five (tied with Liverpool).
The final roster for the Three Lions side that Roy Hodgson will lead into the 2016 European Championships was announced yesterday with Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater being the biggest snub.
Drinkwater getting left off was no doubt the top story of the day, but let’s not overlook what Tottenham Hotspur accomplished here.
