Phil Neville Getting Slammed on Social Media During United-Liverpool Draw

Once again, it was another dull, extremely disinteresting contest between Manchester United and Liverpool. A tedious, boring 0-0 draw has led United, Liverpool and just general football supporters to find entertainment value elsewhere from the weekend’s headliner Premier League fixture.

Ripping United legend and current football announcer Phil Neville is the current past time right now.

His broadcasting abilities and skill set are being put on blast right now, as many social media users find him to be extremely biased. This just one day after he was thoroughly slammed for getting political in a tweet.

Phil Neville is a top trending term on Twitter right now, and here are some of the more standout Tweets going after him.

Enjoy:

Even Phil Neville thinks that was a penalty. And he’s the Jon Snow Of commentary.

Never understand why broadcasters like @NBCSports have an ex player Phil Neville commentate #LIVMANU when he is so bias towards one team

Phil Neville proving why he’s not a manager by suggesting Mhiki should stay on and Young should come off for Lingard. #LIVMUN #EPL

It’s a rough day for Phil Neville on Twitter, but I’m sure he’s doing just fine with it. Yesterday was kind of brutal too.

Here’s a small sample of the backlash he took for making an anti-Hillary Clinton comment:
