Everton FC caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson won his first game in charge, and now comes his second test, at Old Trafford versus Manchester United tomorrow. The Toffees have some work to do in order to avoid falling into the relegation zone, so they’ll be highly motivated for this one.
United will have high ambition as well, as they’re drawing closer to a top four position now. They entered the weekend in fifth place, and with Chelsea shockingly losing at home to AFC Bournemouth today, a win brings them just two points behind the Blues for the last UCL qualification slot.
Side note, this will be the final league match before the one year anniversary of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as caretaker manager (with the ascension to the permanent position coming in the spring).
Let’s take a look at who OGS might select in his United first team for this one.
