Manchester United resume Premier League play this weekend when they host Brighton & Hove Albion in a Saturday afternoon matinee. United will probably be looking to make a fierce statement in this one, expect United manager Jose Mourinho to field a very strong team in this one.
Fresh off an uninspiring second half performance that saw them drop a point in UEFA Champions League group play at FC Basel, the Red Devils will need to regain their focus, fire and form.
Also, when you play a lower division side at home, you just can’t accept any result other than all three points. This is especially true when the team you’re trying to catch at the top of the table, Manchester City, is playing out of this world.
Brighton has just the one win in what has been a just an 11 match series. There have been seven United wins and three draws in the other 10 games. Without further ado, here is our MUFC starting XI prediction (4-2-3-1)
Romelu Lukaku
Anthony Martial Marcus Rashford Juan Mata
Nemanja Matic Paul Pogba
Ashley Young Eric Bailly Chris Smalling Antonio Valencia
David de Gea
Odds: Man Utd 1/5, draw 6/1, Brighton 18/1
